Reporting from ChicagoCoast to Coast Wednesday featuring:
Nosidam the Artist and Monk Red are two D.C natives (and former Columbia College Chicago students) that reside in Chicago, IL to further their photography and music careers. They just released a single titled, “Lack of Definition” that gives off an old-school vibe right from the start. They are apart of the D.C based group “Dope Collective” that features independent artists working towards one goal. Getting to the top isn’t easy, but with real talent and hardwork, achieving your goal is definately possible.
Nosidam is an aspiring photographer/singer who’s getting steady recognition from his photography work and will soon have a large following with his music (check out dankphotography.tumblr.com for more of his work). Monk Red is an aspiring poet/spoken word artist whose music is strictly art that is ready to be heard by the masses. (for more of his work check out 99centdreamers.tumblr.com)To keep tabs on these artists follow them on twitter @NosTheArtist @aColorBlindkid @Dope_Collective
